Windsor & Eton Brewery

Windsor & Eton Brewery Taproom, 1-4 Vansittart Estate, Duke St, Windsor SL4 1SE
Windsor & Eton Brewery was opened in 2010, and quickly established itself as arguably the leading cask brewery in the Thames Valley. In 2014 they established Uprising as a sister brand to brew keg beers.

They opened their first Taproom in 2016 which shared the same space as the brewery, but it was in 2021 that WEBrew really raised their game, taking on the lease of the adjacent Unit 4, to establish the superb purpose-built Taproom as it exists today.

The ground floor of the Taproom will comfortably seat around 80 people, and there is a mezzanine floor with a further 30-odd seats. Outside there is seating for another 50 or so, giving Unit 4 more capacity than the vast majority Taprooms.

The venue has a food kitchen in one corner, serving good-looking burgers, hotdogs and wings. Like many hospitality venues this week, Unit 4 was in a full 6-nations frenzy, projecting the games onto the gargantuan screen on the back wall.

When they opened in 2021, Unit 4 was all alone in terms of Taprooms by the Thames-side in Windsor, but they have recently been joined on the same street by both Two Flints and Indie Rabble Breweries/Taprooms, bringing to life a very pleasant Windsor Beer Mile, which your correspondent enjoyed to full advantage on Saturday afternoon!

The taproom is open every day from noon.
