This week SIBA published their market report analysing the total number of current UK Breweries – broken down by region – at the end of 2023. Beer Today has crunched the numbers, which showed that the North of England fared the worst, whilst the East and Southeast survived relatively unscathed.

Minimum Alcohol Price Increased In Scotland
This week the Scottish Government is expected to announce a 30% increase in the minimum unit price of alcohol, from 50p to 65p. This is clearly news that will mainly impact the macros and the cheap rubbish that they peddle, so this seems to be good news for Craft Brewers.
