The Kean’s Head exudes a cosy and welcoming atmosphere with its rustic wooden tables, chairs, flooring, and an old-fashioned wooden bar. During our visit, the Kean’s Head featured a couple of exceptional beers from US icons Other Half and Equilibrium, showcasing its dedication to offering an eclectic mix of local and international brews. Notably, they always provide an alcohol-free option on keg, making it an inclusive spot for all.

In addition to its stellar beer range, The Kean’s Head offers over 200 varieties of rum, gin, and whisky, further cementing its reputation as one of the city’s top destinations for drink connoisseurs. The pub is both dog and family-friendly, creating a warm and inviting environment for all visitors.

The food at The Kean’s Head is another highlight. The resident kitchen hosts serve fresh and flavourful small plates of Indian food at lunchtime and hearty main meals in the evening. The menu is a delightful blend of tastes that perfectly complements the pub’s beverage offerings.

Operating hours are convenient, with doors open from midday to 10pm Monday through Thursday, extending to 11pm on Fridays. On weekends, the pub opens at 10am, welcoming patrons until 11pm on Saturdays and 10pm on Sundays.
