The brilliant Beer Nut was visiting the south coast of England this week, and reported to his surprise that Macro keg Pales are actually half-decent these days. Not sure if this is good or bad news(?), but TWICB Rob had a similar experience in a Greene King pub recently.

Finally this week, the Morning Advertiser published their latest regional price- of-a-pint research. It turns out there is about a 20% difference between the top and bottom, although their figures for the south-east seem a bit low, in our experience.
