It’s a good job the sun is shining, as there is very little good news to report apart from the weather. The latest CGA Tracker noted that sales at Britain’s largest pub groups fell 1% in May compared to 2019. When adjusted for inflation, this represents a decline of more like 20%.

Finally, very sad news emerged this week, that Honest Brew are shutting down their beer delivery service. There will no doubt be many people reading this Newsletter who can thank Honest Brew for introducing and providing easy access to great Craft Beer, especially a few years back, when other outlets were harder to find.
