Mash Paddle Brewery Taproom

Mash Paddle Brewery Taproom, 92 Enid Street, London SE16 3RA
Nestled within a classic railway arch on the Bermondsey Beer Mile, Mash Paddle Brewery brings a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere to the craft beer scene. Established in 2022, it’s one of the newer spots in this iconic London beer destination, but it already feels like a staple.

The long, narrow layout is typical of other taprooms on the Mile, but the bright yellow and blue walls create a cheerful, inviting vibe. Wooden tables and chairs line the main floor, and there’s also a cozy mezzanine level with additional seating, providing a great spot to enjoy your beer with a bit more privacy.

Beach Street Beer Festival
The taproom boasts a selection of 12 taps, pouring a diverse range of craft beers. While Mash Paddle serves up their own brews, they also curate an excellent lineup from some of the UK’s finest craft breweries, ensuring there’s always something new to try. From light lagers to rich imperial stouts, there’s a beer for every palate. For those who prefer something other than beer, Mash Paddle also offers a fine selection of wines and an extensive cocktail menu.

A highlight of Mash Paddle’s weekly events is their collaboration with The Flow Pizza, who join every Saturday with their authentic Italian pizza oven. The hand-crafted pizzas are a perfect complement to the taproom’s beer offerings. And if you’re in the mood for snacks, you can’t go wrong with their selection of crisps, nuts, and biltong, perfect for munching along with your pint. Fridays at Mash Paddle bring live music from local artists, creating a lively and entertaining night out.

One unique feature that sets Mash Paddle apart from other taprooms is their “brew your own beer” experience. During select times when the taproom isn’t open, customers can come in and brew their own beer on-site, guided by Mash Paddle’s expert brewers. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn the art of brewing from start to finish, from mashing grain to fermentation. In just a few weeks, you’ll return to collect your very own canned beer, which adds a personal touch to the overall experience.

Mash Paddle Brewery is open from Thursday to Sunday, offering flexible hours for weekend visits. Whether you’re a seasoned craft beer lover or new to the scene, this taproom has something for everyone.
