Situated in the heart of Bermondsey’s iconic Beer Mile, Cloudwater’s Enid Street taproom offers an authentic and charming experience for beer enthusiasts. The taproom itself is a long and narrow space, with an inviting rustic ambiance that complements its surroundings. As testament to their commitment to freshness, Cloudwater transports their latest brews from their main brewery in Manchester, ensuring that patrons can enjoy the very latest and freshest beers on the market. All pours of beer are at a set price (£4.00 on our last visit) so expect to get 1/3, 1/2 or 2/3rds of a pint depending on its ABV.
While seating is somewhat limited, both indoors and outdoors, accommodating around 50 people inside and featuring four outdoor tables, the cozy atmosphere adds to the overall appeal. Keep in mind that reservations are not accepted, so seating availability can be a matter of chance.
The taproom boasts an impressive lineup of 18 craft taps, showcasing Cloudwater’s renowned beer styles alongside some exceptional guest beers. All drafts are drawn directly from a 5oC cold store, ensuring optimal temperature and freshness. Additionally, a traditional cask Cloudwater beer is available on a cask handpull pump.
