Price of a Pint Approaches Breaking Point?
Not much good beer news around this week! Firstly, the Morning Advertiser cites the general concerns across Hospitality that per-pint prices are approaching a breaking point for consumers, with no end to the rises in sight.

Oversupply of Hops
Finally this week, it turns out to have been a strong harvest in 2024 for Noble hops in Germany. Sadly for farmers, demand has cratered in the meantime, causing prices to fall by as much as 90%! Apparently the brewery cold- stores are literally still stuffed with hops from the previous year due to falling demand for beer overall, as well as a move away from the fashion for heavily hopped beers. What is the World coming to…?!
